POST-PRODUCTION GRANT PROGRAM 2025
Netflix and UFA announce next Ukrainian film projects with support for post-production
The Ukrainian Film Academy has announced the next list of projects supported with grants for post-production as part of its ongoing partnership with Netflix and with support of the EU-funded House of Europe and the New York Film Academy. This is the second round of the post-production grants, this time awarding grants to 20 Ukrainian film projects from a variety of both upcoming and established creators across genres. Post-production is a crucial stage in any film projects - necessary to bring the finished story to audiences.
This is already the fourth edition of the partnership, which has from the beginning consistently supported Ukrainian filmmakers with mentorship, capacity building, new opportunities and financial support - both in Ukraine and those around the world who have been affected or displaced by the war - so they can continue their work.
Applications were accepted for Ukrainian feature fiction or documentary films at the production or post-production stage. After the evaluation process, twenty projects have been selected to receive grants of $15,000 each:

These initiatives, supported by Netflix’s Fund for Creative Equity, offer financial assistance to Ukrainian artists for the creation of new films and the post-production of existing feature projects. Over the last three years, 200 industry professionals have received stipends for creative purposes; education and mentoring have been offered to over 850 Ukrainian filmmakers, scriptwriters, producers, and others in the creative community. Script development grants distributed through the Ukrainian Film Academy strengthened a total of 73 film projects while 10 advanced films got financial assistance to complete post-production. With the new round of grant support, a total of 30 films now received substantive help in reaching their audiences at home and abroad.
